Ok so, i live in a terraced house...very busy road, but there are cars parked all up one side. It's an alright area, not the best though. Mate had his car scratched and a screwdriver through the roof last year...but generally i think its not so bad.
I have a bike cover, a boss disk lock and a magnum rear wheel chain thing...
Theres enough space to have it on the pavement very close to the wall just outside my ground floor front room bedroom...but this may encourage drunks on friday and saturday night to walk into it/mess with it in general.
Or i could have it on the road next to the curb on my side of the road with all the cars, locked up with a cover over her.
This is only for the next month or two as i'm moving to a house with a garage thank god [-o<
Any opinions, or what do other people do?

Most of the time mine is in the back garden. 7ft high brick wall to the side of the gate, with a 7ft wodden gate. Very heavy padlock on that.

Approx 9ft high conifer type trees to the side & back of the garden, which prevent all view. Ground anchor in the back garden too.

Or I can put it in the garage come shed if I like.

But in your situation, I'd put it on the road, with the cover over it, and it chained to something heavy. Like a tree. Less chance of drunks falling into it that way.
