Been searching the threads for ages looking for a part number for the r6 throttle tube mod.

I remember when this was all the rage and there were countless threads describing it but now i cant seem to find any of them.

Any body know the part number of the throttle tube?

Here are the part numbers you need:

5SL-26240-01-00, comes with a grip
4YR-26241-02-00 Grip L/H

Obviously the left hand grip is optional, but it is nice if the style and pattern match!

That wasn't actually the one I was looking for, but I was in a hurry. Glad it helped.
I was actually looking for the one with these photos in it that show what you have to chop off for a pointy.

Thanks for that stu, what a coincidence I have ordered my throttle tube and grip (both sides) today, that pic will come in handy.

Don't use a stanley knife - too easy to snap off more than you want to

Sorry to bump this but....

Looking at those pics, it looks as if the only difference between them is that the holes on the R6's are slightly closer. Actually they look the same distance centre to centre, except the R6's has one wider hole. If that's the case couldn't I just widen the hole the SV's throttle? Or is it more complicated than that?

The barrel of the tube is a larger diameter, hence it requires less angular movement to pull the same amount of cable as the standard throttle tube.
