I was gonna start a thread asking the same thing. I'd be happy to spend all day out on the bike so i'll end up going pretty much anywhere.

Throughout most of the south/mid-west it's meant to be cloudy, but with an average minimum temperature of 10 degrees celsius. Sounds alright to me! Maximum temperature is at 20 degrees c.

Neio79, when you've decided on what you're gonna do, give me a shout and i'll come meet you, seeing as i'll only be coming from Trowbridge.

that sounds good

Ill try and find some good looking red 3 number A roads on the map arround Wiltshire and Dorset, actually some of the route form the Dorset doddle last year was good. Ill look at a route and let you know it for any comments/suggestions.

looks like my threads been hi-jacked by you english types. i guess thats the problem with covering such a large area, or maybe i should have put taffia in the title......... it would be nice to come over the bridge into bandit country.

if any of the taffia fancy a trip over the bridge,
see here http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=109598

(zig-zag hill is simply super, cheader gourge would be nice too, but i guess it will be full of cage's.)
or just stay a bit more local

Sounds good to me. You'll be going past my house (Frome Road, A361) on the way to Frome so that's probably a pretty convenient place for us (me and my bro) to join you!
Do you have any idea of what time you're going?

There's a huge car park for the Clarendon Sports Centre on Frome Road if that's any good.

It's signposted as Clarendon School, with a lil sign under it saying 'Able Motorcycle Training'.

The direction of travel is of course assuming that when you get into Trowbridge, you go straight ahead at the Citroen garage and not left...either way out of Bradford will put otherwise put you in this direction.

I must admit that was a lot better than my usual routes from Trowbridge to Salisbury!
How many miles did you clock up yesterday? My trip-o-meter-doodad read 160.9 miles when we stopped in Trowbridge, but i'm sure it should've been more than that. By the time we stopped for lunch, it only said 45 miles (read as we were just setting off again) which is why i'm asking...

160 ish sunds about right to me, i am not sure as i never triped it!
