Just thought I'd share this with you guys...
Been on Diabolo Corsa III's for the past 2 years and could not see past them on the ZX6r. Getting on average 1200 - 1400 on a rear.
However - travelling up and down from Kinross to Hexham I got some PR2s fitted for the long drive. I have to say that these tyres are just phenomenal. And I really mean it. I've done 10k on them and they are still like new. I have absolutely ragged them senseless and they handle anything you can throw at them. The wear is sensational. (I'll post photos soon).
I've ran them at the recommended 42 - 36 for a while but for the whole if this year been runnung them at 34 30 and I thought they would wear quicker than the soap in a nunnery. Nope. These babies just grip grip grip...but I am pushing them real hard.
Was out with a friend who is a racer at Knockhill in the 400 class last Tuesday. We were going through the "sma glen" road in the wet. He was amazed because he was holding me up. He was on a Gixxer K4 600 on bridgestones. In the dry I matched him to a point but this is a racer so...make your own mind up.
No...I don't work for Michelin - I just think that there's so much about tyres these days that it's worth trying these - you will be totally amazed at the lifespan.
Hope that helps anyone thinking about new tyres.
EDIT: For the same mileage I would have went through approx 5 sets of Corsa IIIs. My riding hasn't changed one bit.
