Are they bad for you?
What is the most healthy way of eating an egg?
I have heard that frying them increases cholesterol, some sort of reaction goes on ... never really read up on it to find out what/if true. But it is safe to say that most things when fried are then considered bad, so why would an egg be any different?! ;)
I like scrambled and poached, are there any health advantages/disadvantages over these two methods? Do you lose more/some of the protean in either method?

the yoke has the cholestrol and the badness. The white has the protein and the goodness. Hence why bodybuilders/sportmen (or women :)) eat just egg whites.

That is a pretty well known fact, I was more asking if ways of cooking the (whole) eggs affect its nutritional values ...

Don`t honestly think so but obviously if you fry them then you have the addition of the fat you`ve used. I like my eggs either scrambled or poached... if poaching I do em in the microwave.

ahh right, im with you now ;)
Poaching might leech goodness into the water?
Frying adds oil and nastyness?
Maybe boiling is the best way to keep the goodness in?

How long do you cook them for to poach them in the micro? ... I presume you basically just cook them, not boil the water under them like you do on a cooker?!?!

While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human bloodstream.
So one of those Egg Council creeps got to you too, huh? You'd better run, egg!
i have an microwave egg poacher (kleeneze catalogue) I put them in for 30 seconds then rest for 10 seconds then another 10 seconds. I find resting them stops them exploding all over the inside of the microwave. i dont add water to them, think maybe you should but have lost the instructions

Love my eggs scrambled or poached with toast and the odd bit of cheese, but I poaches them in a saucepan I does, the old fashioned way
Either scrambled or poached both are good for you. I have the odd fried egg, only way you can have them (manageably) in a butty :D
