might be cheaper to get a set of calipers off fleabay and strip them Si? Piston kits aren't cheap (as I'm sure you know already). Guess thew SV only has 2 pistons per caliper but even so...

I've already been down that road. I would need to do it again now, which in reality means I could have just gone and bought the pistons the first time round. There is also the lottery element of buying on eBay. At least if I buy the pistons, I'll be starting afresh. And yes, two pistons per pot. Eighty squids for the complete set including new seals.

I looked at doing it for the ZZR, but with 8 pistons plus one at the back, I'm just going to have to live with them I think. managed to clean them up OK, but a bit of the nitride coating has come off - I'll just have to see how it lasts. it does stop OK with new EBC pads but you really have to grab a handful to stop quickly.

I was going for a later date purely as I have to get it past Jo. Not so sure I'd be able to get another one so soon. Especially when I need a new rear tyre and a new piston kit for the front callipers.

Is the ApeMan finally admitting that he is also governed by the lady in his life? Welcome to the club buddy!

I never stated otherwise. The difference is I am married and have children. You sir are single but still governed by a woman. That's just not normal, right or even acceptable.

It's not so much the money, it's going away for a weekend with bike buddys again when we are saving for a holiday.. In reality I won't be booking another trackday for a few months..

Girfriends are great, if you don't like them you ditch them and do what you want.
Wives on the other hand, now that's a totally different ball game.

Not sure if this is going to work but...

You tube link (at last) to the on board footage I had for the one session.

Blatantly fake though, if you see the extended version.

Obviously, but doesn't make it any less funny. It's the commentary that's the funniest.

Trackdays are so restrictive. What you want to do is get a road bike!

Can't make it this Tues :(

Defo next one though.......

But here's one for thought.... http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=115823

But as it's a circuit saver deal, the price will rise as more people book on.
Can't beat £95 for the GP, can leave in the morning so will save a night staying somewhere ;)
