Just been out walking in the rain as my Springer was going mental ...... why do they want to stop at every lampost and sniff all the way around it?

Do they think "ha I'll get Mummy soaked while I sniff doggy pee". Then as soon as he gets in the house he just shakes himself all over my carpet :mad: Now he is happily sleeping on the sofa while I clean up after him ..........typical male !! How to annoy ya Mum in one doggie walk

smelly little git left a pile of sand in the middle of the hall floor (although it might have been his Dad) where he was sleeping too.

Shell, dogs love the rain cos all the dried up doggy pee starts being 'fragrant' again! Mine spend ages having a sniff along the hedge in the rain.

one of my dogs loved the rain/water etc my other one the collie has a water phobia if its raining in the garden he sits under the tree and if you go to take him for a walk in the rain he sits there and says you must be joking!

Throw my dog a stick on land, and he'll sit there and look at you as if to say "good throw, well done" ... but will retrieve from water all day long.

smelly dogs.....eugh, mine love the moors above my house, but they always find the most stinky spot to roll in, then have a dip in the pond up there too, just to make sure its proper wiffy. By the time they've layed down at home for an hour, it stinks reeeaaaal cheesy.





I blamed Im Indoors on Sunday for the offense...til I realised it was BOB......poooooo

Know what you mean about dogs sniffing at every damn thing, mine is a reyt pain, especially in the rain when he knows I want to get home as quickly as possible! He knows he's not meant to stop constantly, I'll attempt to pull him on and he'll dig his claws into the tarmac and throw his weight in the opposite direction :mad: I win eventually but doesn't stop him trying!

This is him, giving me the eye, "I'm going to soak you in a minute, this is your 2 second warning!"

no they're not but the best they can do personality wise is gulp like crazy when you go anywhere near to trick you into thinking he hasn't been fed :rolleyes:

It did look a bit spooky lol.... was just after a thunderstorm and had I had a better camera i might have been able to get a better pic. The nude figure is the Iron Men at Crosby beach http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Another_Place there`s 3 of them in that pic. There`s also the wind turbines (recently erected) which i hate and you can just about make out Wales in the background

Used to have a border collie called zeus,he was totally mental and used to try and herd people up when they were leaving the house...absolutely brilliant at catching a frisbie.

Also very smelly when wet.......(sigh)i miss my dog.:(

My dog is a rescue dog and apparently used to be called Zeus :) He's been a Riddick all the time we've had him :rolleyes:
