Today on the M1 I overtook a police Vectra at 85....

...then it overtook me doing about 105. Shyte, methinks. So I slowed down, a bit.

...Then it stopped the black audi that overtook me minutes earlier doing about 120.

I have overtaken a few police car doing an indicated 80 - 85 on the speedo, its probably not that much over 70 in reality.....who knows? thats the theory I go on.

If you maintain a safe speed past them thats not really taking the ****, I'm sure they wouldnt want to waste there own time let alone your, because they know in 2 minutes time someone will go by at 100+ anyway.

Passing in the opposite direction is cheating lol...... I have done it a few times passing at 'think of the children' speeds......then you realise by the time they have turned safely AND got to the speed to catch up....your gone
