Sorry, but i just had to share this with the .org.

The sun shone, the roads were empty and 280 miles passed by in a blur. I had intended to stop lots and take loads of pics with my new Nikon D60, but, well, you all know how it is, we got carried away a bit!

Ho hum, obligatory Ribblehead Viaduct pic

All in all, a great day out, basis of the route was Clitheroe, back lanes to Settle, Hawes via ribblehead and the jump (Jump virgin over here! Cancelled the vasectomy, can't find them now :-k) then Brough, Middleton in Teesdale, Alston, Hartside, Penrith, parrallel the M6 south on lanes eventually to Devils, then lanes to High Bentham, Slaidburn, Clitheroe and home. Phew!

Ta, it was good. I can't shoot the person who dented the tank, God made the ground shake and my trailer fell over :(. It's probably blasphemy to try and shoot God! :D

Great pictures!

Is the D60 cumbersome to carry around on the bike?

Ta!

And yes, it is, but it does fit in my tank bag. I have ordered a peli case foam insert which I intend to cut down to fit perfectly. You thinking of getting one?

SLR's are always gonna be a bit cumbersome to carry about :(

Yes the S4R is very quick and theres a lot you can do to them mod wise. Our mate in Blackpool has one and hes got a full new system that got rid of that god awful cat converter, with underseat pipes...oh its a peach
