Would have been there today but some dozy ****wit wifey reversed into my Kwak and knocked it over. Came out and saw it lying on it's side, alarm blaring. No damage to the bike other than the bung and a graze on the RHS bar end. At that point I thought - hmmmm....me and Elle will just sit here, relax and have a soda and fresh orange. She was extremely impressed that I didn't go crazy and shout and bawl. Kept very cool, assessed the situation and dealt with it.

Sorry I missed the rideout - would have been fantastic.

ooh, I've never been a cbr fan tbh, I just think it looks more bulky than the rest of the sports bikes. But its either growing on me in my old age, or its changed a lot recently as I'm very close to liking this 1

It's lovely, that new one... The only 600 that doesn't look like it was designed by a computer :p Talk about an unflattering second photie though!

So how's it going so far? Did you chop in the Ninja for it, or are you keeping it as a decoy for idiot car drivers to knock over?

Fantastic. Just totally fantastic. The photos really do not do it justice as it's stunning in the flesh. There's mid range torque and engine braking in buckets. Noticed this when I was downshifting and was having to give it much more blip than I would on the zx6r. Yeah, the Kwak is away as a trade in. I might get another one as a track bike though as the J1 is a cracking piece of kit.
