Due to a error while importing my 02 650s curvy it now seems that there is no way to register my complete mot`d fully serviceable bike-----my options are-------Sell in bits (not happy) Or re-build with a diffrent frame---Can anybody give advise on general pitfalls while doing this ? I am a reasonable home mechcanic and have a garage---Any ideas at all would be most welcome-----Thanks...

It's not hard, and a great way to have basically a new bike, as if you're not daft then you'll ensure it's all well maintained.

Depending on how much you paid for it and what condition the bike is in you will probably be able to make a bit of money breaking it. However frames are fairly common and there are 2 or 3 always on ebay

I'm pretty sure that if you advertised your import frame properly you would have not much trouble selling it to someone in the racing community.
