I dont like rucksacks on bikes, have been using one of those triangle over the shoulder paperboy type things for years quite happily for the commute to work on the bike, but the zip is now b*ggered.

Not even sure what they are called, but look like this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MONOSTRAP-BACKPACK-RUCKSACK-BAG-SINGLE-STRAP-NEW_W0QQitemZ190219156799):

and heres one by a company that makes posh slippers Nike (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NIKE-ALCALA-MONOPACK-BACKPACK-SCHOOL-BAG-NEW-rucksack_W0QQitemZ370048514677)

Bering in mind 'shops' to me means PC world, Screwfix, Machine Mart etc, so I have to buy mail order / ebay, any reccomendations - especially with a mother of a zip would be nice ?

I've use the Knox backpack, chest and waist straps, plenty of room, ROBUST (had it all though winter) and did i mention plenty of room, and ergonomic.

Around £40. busters have the updated one with a some freebies.

That would be the Knox 6 pack? Looks interesting, not for this task mind, but for my longer runs.

Nike Epic is the best backpack I've ever bought. It has a hardshell and it's extremely comfortable.

I've been using a knox aero almost everyday for at least 4 years. Works fairly well.
