So, the Shire is back open for business. We can all move back in. Who is going to be there tomorrow evening. And who wants to go for a bimble before hand?

I'm supposed to have some thereapy tomorrow evening; on my lower back before any smartie pants comments. :D

That said the person is sick at the moment so not sure it will go ahead. Me and my melted bike may just be there.

You forgot the "I will be there, even though I'm selling my bike, but I won't be home early enough to go for a ride beforehand" option. Bad Ape.

Never. How about for an extortionate price?

I'm sorry but I've had to choose the nick_numbers option! My bike is currently in pieces under a cover cos my mudguard didn't fit. i am getting the correct one posted to me today so maybe it'll arrive tomorrow and then I can fit it and come. If not, I might be in the car, but that would just be a big shame so I might not come at all. Anyway, you see, nick_numbers option, sorry.

I work in Reading and will be going directly from Work. To be honest it's pretty damn hard to get lost. Just follow the A4 to Maidenhead. Just before you get to the A404 roundabout, it's on the RHS. If you get to the roundabout go all the way round it and back down the A4. It'll then be the first pub on the left you come to.

Failing that, if you know where the bike park is at the Oracle, I could meet you there. I normally finish work on Tuesdays around 6 - 6:30.

I work at Winnersh Triangle so could meet you? I technically finish work at 4.30 but realistically wont be out till 5pm. I also have SatNav so could meet you instead of the other way around if that is easier!

I'm unlikely to be up for the ride before hand. I am also unlikely to be there before 6pm, so if you want to meet up and go for a ride or whatever, feel free. If I don't hear or read otherwise, I'll assume I'm meeting you at the Oracle between 6 - 6.30. I'm happy whatever.

So with Jon doing his usual trick of not being able to decide what the hell he wants to do (think he should take over the mantle of Nick numbers) do you still want to meet at the Oracle bike park :?: Let's split the difference and say 6:15. Means we will be at the Shire before 7 then.

Easy apeman - was going to pack last night but ended up working till stupid o'clock so didn't get a chance. My boss then deceided that he wanted to get the 7am flight as opposed to the 7pm so dont fancy packing in the morning now.

EDIT - OK, just seen the thread above - so is this just a ride to the shire then essentially?

Ah ok, cheers Si. I will try and make it for 7 then, but as usual don't wait if I'm late. I have a lot of stuff to sort out this evening before I can leave for the Shire.

Argh I know we have to talk about the trackday, but I have no bike and Kate wants to take her car to go to the gym in the evening. So I really can't make it. Can't somebody take minutes of the meeting and let me know what was decided?? I don't even know if I am camping the day before or what. It is an early start isn't it...

Sosha

Got AGES until the trackday.....I'm also now looking unlikely - really am going to be here until the early hours by the look of it.

BTW how can a Bike courier take over 3.5 hours to get and from heathrow to W14?

:smt068

could have WALKED.

Now waiting for him to come back...:smt120

Edit: He here! So 3hours 15 there & 20 mins back....

I saw a cyclist ON THE M40 WITH NO LIGHTS!!!! they were just plodding along near the hard shoulder. I only saw them bacause of the orange reflectors on their pedals! i was doing near on a ton, there is no way I could have avoided them if they had been any furhter out into my lane. What a complete tw*t!
