MitchC is the winner with his stunning picture and the topic for May will be back to bikes with a contrast at the heart of it. What Mitch had was the idea of was a nice shiny bike infront of an old decrepit building, a contrast of old and new with bikes being the key part of it.

Anyway i'm out of here for a week so good snapping!

whilst it's possible, show me a 40,000 mile a year bike and I'll show you a better 5,000 mile a year example ;)

we do have a percentage who use more ploish than petrol, their hobby isn't the same as mine :smt102

Still nothing says it has to be your own bike does it ? I'll see if I can get down to here (http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/motormuseum/introduction.cfm) then :D.

Cheers Mark.

Martha's Chapel, built 1908, located on Killian Farm Road, Lincoln County, North Carolina. You can see the foundation on the right side of the wood structure, large rocks without a basement.

07 SV650, Candy Sonoma Red, Shogun Sliders, Michelin Pilot Road 2CT tires, K&N Air Filter, Napoleon Mirrors and Suzuki SV tank cover. Next project is to install a 39CM Oval Viper Race Can. This is my first sport bike @ 52 years old, better late than never! Love the looks & performance of this fine machine! ;)

The ones with the bikes are my entries. Though I need to lose one of them. I think it might have to be the blurred one... Might go out and try to get a better pic.

The blurred pic is taken in a village called Wentworth, I think it comes under Barnsley in area but it might be Sheff. Very nice place it also has this house which has the biggest front in Europe, id put my bike in front of if it wasn't illegal  Damn thing is privatly owned.

ColorRite paint supply calls the 07 SV650 color "Candy Sonoma Red". Liked it so much, the SV followed me home from the dealer last October!

This was taken last year in Surgere near Rochefort. I put this forward for two reasons
a: cause its a really old town in an old part of France, with really old Napoleanic buildings
b:cause theres our modern bikes parked with my best mates 1977 Z1000 in between and i think its a beautiful example for its age
