I find this realy annoying and discrimatory

I can think of event that occurs every weekend all over the county where we deliberately bring two rival gangs together, perhaps we should cancel them too. No more association football.

Pah, that is pathetic, I have never seen any motorbike gang violence at any bike shows or festivals I have been to!! Where are they getting that idea from?? the one guy who was shot on the M40 last year?

What a load of carp. Why not ban football matches then. Hillsborough? remember that? I don't seem to recal them banning football after that! Well said Mogs, this is blatant discrimination. But then I'm sure they'd really like to ban us all together, its just a step in the right direction as far as they are concerned. Barstuards!

This is like the 3rd thread on the same subject :) Apparently they've had information from within the gangs. Seems like a lot of those guys like being big scary bikers but don't actually want the trouble, so they leak the plans to the police...

How far do we trust "the authorities" with their unsubstantiated information?Makes the Police popular locally to get a bike rally banned and claim to be at the forefront of the fight against crime.Easy politics when you can attack an unliked minority like bikers.

Not in the slightest :) But the clubs haven't been secretive about plans to disrupt shows, so it's not like it's uncorroborated. Remember it's not "the authorities" cancelling the shows, its the venues.
