It seems that lads that wear shirts are actually the most drunken and liable to fight in my experience. Ben Sherman shirts do not make a guy cultured or respectable. T-shirt for me.

exactly my thinking, my flight suit is usually, crisp white t-shirt, blue jeans, and clean white shoes (sounds crap but i pull it off:D)

i've always thought that shirts make you look like a chav

Now see, the outfit is denoted by the reason for going out...

Going to get ratted, t-shirt, easier to clean. Going out to just have a laugh with mates? Who cares, you're going to have a laugh, not out on the pull...

Been so long since I've been out on the pull that I can't remember what I wore back then...

Generally designer jeans and a tshirt is what i'm prefer to wear but really at the end of the day it's what your most comfortable in.

I would imagine someone who works in an office all day, wearing shirt and tie won't want to go out for beers with his mates wearing a shirt, everybody needs a change

Depents on where you are going. If i go into chorley i wear a dressy tight t-shirt as its more of a casual atmosphere. if i go into Bolton, Preston, or Manchester it has to be a shirt as its more upperclass.

I know what your thinking Bolton, Preston upperclass :-k

I drink in more of an alternative pub, so jeans, trainers and a t shirt. In Black.

Urgh, I was unfortunately proved right last night. Outside O'neills in Oxford was some stag party, all wearing Ben Sherman shirts and jeans, with a loud hailer annoying everyone and collering all the girls as they walked passed. People who wear shirts out in an attempt to look smart just end up drunk and arrogant.

If you see someone wearing a shirt and rockports then you know that they will more than likely be a d!ck. I often go out wearing shirt, (with vneck jumper in the winter), shoes and jeans. If I don't, I quite often get told I am to casual which is quite often a load of balls. I guess it depends on the person etc. If i am just going to the pub then anything goes ;)
