View Full Version : 1,694
1,694 = miles covered by on my beautiful Hornet between 15th May 2007 and 16th May 2008, i.e. between MOTs.
I'm ashamed of myself* :(
Note to self:
Get out more!!
[* for the pathetic mileage, not coz she's a Honda ;)]
You ride a Honda, no wonder it doesn't get out much.
Obviously you only ride at night, so there's less chance of people spotting you on it.

You as well? Talk about kicking a guy when he's down
Part of the problem is that I didn't have you "gracing my rear" during the period in question :smt058

Dont worry about it, I have done exactly 123 miles since Oct 23rd last year. No point riding bike just for the sake of it, other things to be getting on with as well.

That's the point.... I want to ride it more but haven't had the time.
Note to self:
Make time to ride!!
PS: hope the "other things to do" are going okay? :D

Yeah, but the number of times you've said to me "I'm just off out on the bike" in the last year. I didn't realise you were just sitting on in it in the works car park:rolleyes:
Mind you, I've done exactly 0 miles in the last 42 months! (actually, that's not true - I did about 20 miles on Northy's bike in Wales)
No point riding bike just for the sake of it...
I SOOOOO don't get that statement.
I SOOOOO don't get that statement.
Sometimes, if you just ain't in the mood to appreciate it at that particular time, then why do it 'just because you can'.
It's the difference between doing it because you love it and loving it just because you can do it...
... does that actually make any sense to anyone else apart from me?

+1. yeah thats exactly why you ride a bike, for the sake of it.
