...a new job. As an assistant psychologist in a neuropsychology department to be more precise. (I know thats very specific! :p)
But can I find one? no :( job-hunting is impossible, when one barrier is reached i.e. experience in mental health, another one pops up.
I work in psychology research on 3 projects at the mo but im getting a bit tired of it. It doesnt feel psychology based enough, I want to focus on psychology interventions like cognitive behavioural therapy or something.
Nevermind, I shall persist.

I want.....
a lie in in bed, some warm sunshine, mellow waves and a nice surf, followed by a barbie with some plonk and a razz on the bike the next morning under clear blue skies whilst the North Yorkshire constabulary stay at home.
I'll probably get the lie in.
cognitive behavioural therapy
Maria, I'm in talks with CAMHS and our SENCO about persuing my eldest's Dyspraxia further. We're trying to push the LEA to get a dedicated support teacher. Cognitive behavioural therapy would be great, as his frustration is starting to bubble up & come out in random ways (cutting himself with scissors etc).
Do you & Matt fancy moving to N. Wales? :D
i want someone to buy my flat

I want....my exams to be over dammit, so I can start learning for me theory
Miss ASH, my cousin did her degree in Psychology, apparently the job situation is very difficult, but then there must be loads of undergraduates, too much competition I guess. At least you have managed to get into the profession :D Hope you manage to find a more suited position!

Keep pushing because you have every right to have a dedicated support teacher; im guessing you have already set the ball rolling and know what the process is?

same here lol, I think most of the people doing Zoology are doing it as a backup as its one of the closest things to veterinary science
It's a good degree but there's rather a lot of swallow-textbook kind of work, my brain unfortunately isn't the sponge it used to be haha. I'm the only one in my generation in the family who is doing a BSc, my cousins are doing or have done Psychology or Public Relations, but then they are southern :D
