I don't know what to call these, but are they not the worst you've ever seen?

So I put these Valter Moto Type 1 on instead. I've never understood the facination with spending a lot of money on rearsets just because they look Bling 8) But trust me these have improved the bike so much they are worth every penny. Changing gear is now so smooth and my back brake actually works (but not the brake light - if anyone can point me to the cheapest pressure banjo switch that will fit my original brake line please?)

I can't wait for someone to post a 'I can't find neutral' or 'I can't change gear' thread. Because these are the answer 8)

Nice can!

Prefer the look of the GBmoto ones myself as far as the rearsets are concerned. They come in black too.

Not too sure about those rear sets, they look kinda high up, might be a little bit odd unless ure only a wee fella, and the can, wtf like lol, looks interesting alright .

Why would i want black ones? my bike has a silver frame :???: Also I really don't like the look of them - too fussy, I like my minimalist look. I appreciate that the adjustability might be good in practise, but it doesn't make it look better just looks like what it is - one design fits all bikes instead of the custom made look of the Valter Moto. They also look flimsy IMO.

Also the photo above on their lowest setting looks the same height (inline with the top of the swing arm) as mine so what's the point in being able to adjust them to be even more uncomfortable*

*I'm quite happy with the height of mine. But my legs are totally bent & I do fear for my knees

AFAIK it's an akra megaphone meant for an R6.

More than likely very loud as the R6 it's meant for has a pre-silencer under the bike.

No, I wear earplugs  But Sid squid measured it at 108dB ? IIRC (Brands Hatch measured it at 114 dB)

To the person that pm'd me - you're set up not to receive pms, so ...
is this the gsxr can No, it's for an R6 and you have fitted custom pipework No, just cut the standard headers in the usual place 50 mm after the weld. The can fits inside the headers inbetween the outer wall & the baffling on the inside - you should be able to see better on the first photos with the can removed. The first pic in the thread clearly shows one of 4 lengthways cuts I made in the headers to be able to compress the headers on top of the can as the can is so narrow. It does not seal very well at all, but hey that just adds to the pops & bangs on overrun AFAIK :D
The hanger bracket was just a strip I had in the garage, 2 holes drilled & bent to fit. If you search on youtube, Northwind posted a video of it on his bike (I bought it from him) let me know if you can't find it.
cheers
Stu
