Took the SV to them today for an MOT. Really impressed with the customer service side of things and asked me if I wanted to be in the workshop for the MOT so I could see first hand what they were doing...
Took me through all the steps of the MOT, and it was refreshing to see an MOT tester taking a common sense view to mods on a bike - i.e Fuel can, tail tidy with a stick on reflector - no probs passing...
Was also more than happy to have a good look at the chain link which I had rivetted to make sure it was ok.
The MOT guy was a biker, as was the guy behind the desk and it was nice to see these guys taking a decent approach to servicing and MOT's which really made me feel like a valued customer, and couldnt do enough to help.
If you need tyres, servicing, an MOT or bits and pieces, give them a call as they are a small independant garage who I think should really succeed in what they are doing.
IMO there are far too many larger franchise garages offering iffy customer service at inflated prices nowaday, and it would be a shame for a decent outfit such as PGM no do well.
Just bear them in mind.
Cheers,
BB.
