...Anyone used them? I saw an advert saying that they were offering 'special' deals to Suzuki owners. I am currently with Bennets, who gave what I thought was a decent premium of £205 fully comp last year (first bike, no NCB, just passed my test). Now, a year on, they want to charge me £245 (no claims, yet!!)
Just got an online quote from Express (through Hastings direct) and they want £158! - again fully comp, but with a fairly hefty excess.
Just wondered if anyone had used them on here?

Mine is due end of June so I was going to see what express can do.

I used them for my Honda XR125 (first bike) and then SV for a year in total - They are owned by Suzuki. Customers services took forever to answer and they were pretty unhelpful. Premium quote for this year was appalling!
I am with Aquote now - they used some of my car no claims to get me 4 yrs discount on my SV650. Bearing in mind I'd only been riding a year and had passed my test 8 months previous, I paid ?199 (included ?50 premium for leather & helmet cover I should have asked to be removed).

Always been helpful - these people answer the phone and reply to emails!

I am with them now and my off was sorted very quickly. Not had any issues with them. However, I am likely to not go with them again as their excesses are too high in my opinion and I have had quotes at more reasonable rates and with smaller excesses.
I'm with them, found them incredibly useful and one of the cheapest......and just changed some details on my policy and the extra they charge me is unbelievably cheap. £300 cheaper than anywhere else had previously qouted when I was looking around to see who much it might have cost me.

I've just renewed with them for a second year mainly as they do competitive quotes. The excesses weren't massivley higher than the other broker in the running though (MCE). Agree that some of their lines are absolutely awful to get through to - I think it's the adjustments line from my last call to them.

It never ceases to amaze me that 2 people can receive totally different service from the same company!

Does anyone have their mods declared with express and how much was it?
I have a fuel exhaust and by the look of their website my insurance is void! Will i have to pay much to have it added to my policy?

Depends on the underwriter - Equity Red Star let me add slip-ons for free.

Just renewed for £153 fully comp, 200 quid excess through MCE...
Also, asked about the Fuel can - as long as it is road legal (which it is) and doesn't increase the performance by more than 5% (which I doubt it does), its included...
Being old has its perks..

I rang them and they added it for no charge. But when I got my new cover note they had removed my pillion insurance!! So i have had to get back in touch to get that fixed.

I'm with express atm £1000 fully comp £300 excess (i'm 18) and yes I did come off my bike and wrote it off as well as injuring myself.
Currently I owe £4100 on finance, they are offering to pay £3800, trying to get them to pay off the finance totally and waive the excess but that's just me being cheeky.
They seem ok, and have been good to deal with so far.

I used Express for three years - they were very competitive and also didn't mind about the numerous mods to my SV (custom paintwork, etc). No grumbles either.
I'm about to ring up tomorow to change the registration plate on my bike so that I can put my private plate on.....I'm hoping they dont want to charge me an extra £25 - £30 admin fee.
We shall see though :( I'll report back ****ed off if I have to, as it only take 2 second to enter the details and send a new certificate.
