I want in also....but to destroy the system from the inside!

We were told at our company that we had to change from a daily allowance (e.g. $75 (US) ) per day, to actual receipts.

When we asked why, we were told it was due to the tax man not liking how we did things.

Well that wasn't a lie, was it?!

Come from a very fortunate back ground......or be willing to lick **** from the minute your born.

Either of the above could probably get you a better job than your local MP

Very true, how can MP get away with that  When the tax man doesnt allow everyday people to get away with it.

Billy Connolly once said that the desire to be a politician should forever preclude you from getting to be one

I think that man talked sense.

You need to be picked by your local party group as a candidate, if you want the backing of a party. Interestingly, Tony Blair was talking to both tories and labour when he first became an MP, he didn't care which party accepted him, just wanted to be an MP.

You first need a set of political principles.

On second thoughts, perhaps you don't.

What you need to do is really very simple.

1. Lie through your back teeth.
2. Repeat as above.
