Mrs Gid has gone to a candle party and I have ermmmmmmmm, swigged all her wine.I didnt want to do it honest. It just sat there calling to me.
I could go to the local shop ,buy some cheap plonk and swop the bottles,or just own up .If I own up I've had it,if I swop and she finds out then bye bye.
oh well .

Do tescos or somewhere that deliver sell what you've just drunk, if so go on t'internet get an order in and get it delivered and fess up when she comes home and tell her replacement is on its way ?

oh well .

I have this problem occasionally. I've just accidentally made 3 bottles of Gaymers pear cider disappear. Its tragic.

What you need to do is call her immediately, tell her it needs replacing, and she needs to call past a shop on the way back.

Job done.

The best fit solution would be to keep on drinking.

That way you wake up tomorrow morning with no recollection of hte night before - therefore you didn't do the crime.

Result, a victimless crime. Everyone's happy!

or:

Fill it up with a vinegar/sugar/water mix in a 30/10/60 composition and bang the cork back in.

Quick shake and put it back. Make sure you've still got the receipt, it'll be needed at customer services ;)
