Need a quick answer,
mainly doing indoor photography, alot in poor lighting so need a decent flash for my canon 350d,

Looking at Nissin Di622 Bounce Head Flash Gun or Canon's Speedlite 430EX


Which one do i go for?
nissin is going for ?90 and the canon for ?165
both from 7dayshop.com

Canon's always seem to get rave reviews, but at a price. I like sigma flashguns personally - might be worth checking this:

has a higher guide no: 53 over 44, and uses ETTL2...

My gut feeling would be to go with the Canon, as you have a Canon camera and the flash will be optimised for use with the EOS system, other than that pretty much down to personal preference. Good luck, and post up some piccies when you get it :)

Been using Canon guns for too many years now and couldn't praise them higher. The only times that I use anything else is in the studio or for medium format when it's Metz.
