road closure

the A814/A817 Haul road (military road to the rest of us) from balloch to garelochhead is closed at the moment, dont know why or for how long.

A82 is closed between Tarbet and Crainlarich (lochshore road) from today until 20th June. so if you are off to the Green Welly you will need to head via callendar

yeah i spotted military road was shut yesterday and still shut 2day.

the a82 i think is only being close at nighttimes for them to work on it, they wouldnt shut it all together as its the main route for all deliverys to the islands.

i saw the signs aswell and think it said Nightime.

Yes the A82 is only shut through the night , was on it earlier today , rather busy with motorhomes and caravans, good day to be on the bike rather than in the car stuck in the rolling traffic jams. :riding:

Yeah I think the Haul road is shut for resurfacing. wouldn't imagine it would be shut for that much longer. It's ben shut most of the week I think!

I went down the A82 south last week and the traffic was nothing short of hilarious, must have been ten miles of stationary cars. I guess all tied into the roadworks.

As your are aware i cannot remember that journey home(thankfully):D-but says lots for the sv to haul approx 30 stone of pure muscle home.

I noticed that the A81 ia also closed between the old garage with the chains, at the cut off for stirling and Aberfoyle. I think it too is getting resurfaced!
