Thought I'd pop my head in and say hello as I've been browsing as a non-member whilst considering my SV650 purchase :D

Picking up my first "proper" bike this afternoon after passing my DAS last week. An 05 SV650S K5 so I guess I will then offcially be in the "club".

Have to immediately drive it from Wiltshire to Essex in my first motorway on a bike stint so hope the weather stays nice!

Dont waste the oportunity.

Come back via A roads and get to know your new bike better :), go Oxford, Aylesbury, Hertford :)

Motorways are boring :)

Trouble is I won't get the bike till about 5 and I don't know the area and my sat nav is a car one so don't want to get home at midnight.....

May blast around Essex a bit if I get back at a sensible time!

Picking it up from a farm here:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=SN8+2JT&ie=UTF8&ll=51.506151,-1.579027&spn=0.010337,0.044932&z=15&iwloc=addr

and what better things are there than faffing on the interweb talking (loosely) about bikes!

Croeso! Try to use the A / B roads if you can, much more fun way to get your bike home. Enjoy.
