My bikes are always "she", and far more understanding than the missiz. i think Tanis has hit the nail on the head - They don't argue with you - well unless you do something silly to them. i think saying night night to the bike is fine, allthough just watch where you kiss them, it may seem like a good idea at the time but turtlewax has a funny aftertaste ;-)

Nthing wrong with you mate. I always say gd night to my bike when I lck it up.. Even the cat.. Even NOW while it's in parts and most of the engine is scattered around the garage I re-assure it that it'll all be better soon and give it a pat on the tank or seat..

Maybe a cuddle now and then.

But I haven't named it.. THAT'S JUST SAD!!!!
