A nuthatch I think.

Edit: yeah, just checked - it's a Nuthatch. I was quite the Twitcher as a child. :oops:

Yup, you are correct!

It flew into a window and landed on the patio looking very stunned. I picked it up as there are lot of cats around and I figured that it wouldn't last long left there. It clung on to my finger and blinked at me. So cute.

thats an awesome picture sarah,

i saved this little fella last year, just been learning to fly and think he had stunned himself and i caught a cat stalking it mum was sitting on the fence keeping a very close eye. So i gave the little bugger a drink and some bread he even let me stroke him very strange moment, after a rest i encouraged him to get off his ass and fly then he was up up and away after a few goes.
