Hello :)

I've booked a day off so I can bimble about on my bike and I'm looking to head up towards Scotland so I can have a bit of nice scenery.

I'm based in Liverpool and will be leaving earlyish, I'm just after some suggestions on where I can get to and where to avoid.

Lights are working after my crash, but have a slightly smaller tank capacity :stupid:

The way BluePete took me Durham. Ace route. Dunno where but involved a lot of Wesleydale / Teesdale / other dales.

EDIT: Oh wharfedale and Nidderdale were also involved.

(Yes I know I'm useless)

As you're in a bad place (for really good roads) to start with and will take time to get anywhere, if set on Scotland then up the A6 to Carlisle, A74 to A75, onto Dumfries then westish along the coast road to Stranraer, return via A75 - A712* - A75 etc

*A must do ;)
