View Full Version : Who do I talk to about getting my yellow jersey?

Yes, it was me:rolleyes:
Nothing spectacular, on the DRZ, pulled onto a road at an acute angle behind a taxi, looking left while travelling right, turned back to see brake lights and an indicator - cue too much front brake and we're sliding, just glanced the back of the bumper with something to leave a scratch (10mm if that) and left some war wounds on the handguard / footpeg / crash bungs
Odd thing is; all i could think of whilst i slid the marathon of about 3 yards was the yellow jersey:rolleyes:
oh, and a special note for gettin2dizzy - it's surprisingly easy to run into the back of someone;)
I have no yellow jersey, will a certificate of muppetry do?

D'oh, oh well, Stu will be glad to get rid of it! At least not much damage was done and you are ok :)
The yellow jersey is currently (I believe) purely a Soho thing. Maybe the other sections should get one printed up too... (Although as we seem to be consistently the crashi-est section it'll probably get more use from us!)
Sorry to hear about your off, supermotos look better with a bit of scarring anyway!

Yep, hands off, the Jersey is a Soho Massive thing :)
Has to be really, for ease of handing around.
I would also say a restriction to people who turn up to Soho events would also be sensible.

You'd have to be a daft bugger to do that kind of thing ;)
Sorry to hear of your off, glad you are OK.
While I'd be really glad to get rid of it, it's just a Soho thing. ;)

i was only referring to a metaphorical jersey, didn't realise the soho massive was so "local shop for local people";):D

Which set of wheels were you on?
not the ones you think, they're strickly track only, although it was warm enough for them the bike was on the normally sticky (in the dry at least) D207s... nothing to do with lack of grip, tyres were hot, road was warm and dry, i just grabbed the brake whilst the bike was sitting back and accelerating, my own stupid fault
thankfully the ickle drz is invincible, just straighten out the bar mounts and she's good to go, got to love supermotos:cool:
