a mate of mine has bought a zx9 about 2 weeks ago and has just asked me which way the fuel tap needs to be so it's turned off/on reserve/not in use... I told him I have an sv. :p  Anyone know?

I suggested maybe it was the same as any normal screw/rotary switch/bolt = righty tighty (turn it off) & left loosey (open up the reserve tap)...

aye, im quite impressed. He bought it from a dealer, who, during the sale said "just be careful on it won't you?" about 3 times. Paul (zxr9 geezer) finally asked him why - "cos it's had alsorts done to it, it's a missile". Paul's been riding for years but he says this one needs taming :)
