What a legend.

I once found Kevin Keegan (Liverpool), Bruce Grobelaar (Liverpool), Joe Corrigan (Mcr City), Alan Kennedy (Liverpool) and Keith Kennedy (The Mighty Bury FC) all in my dad's garage drinking his home brew.

Bit of a cheat really as we lived next door the Keith Kennedy's sister in law and he was always there but that one day, his brother and a few team-mates just happened to be there.

Vitually all of the BSB riders, most of the Supersport guys, lost of all the rest too. Several of the WSB guys and a few of the current GP riders... Lots of previous riders too!
I've also woken up/picked up several of them!!!
(When they've crashed!!)

Several minor royals and Philip Schofield - as a kid (I was in the choir of Joseph at the Palladium!:oops:).

Also Murray Walker... What a legend and utterly top bloke! :D

I was set to meet the boys from The Prodigy a few years back as the company I worked for used the same accountants/media consultants as them, but the company went bust a couple of weeks before the date! :-({|=

I've had a drink in the bar at BBC television centre last year, where there were loads of actors but didn't get to meet/talk to any of them!

I'm sure there's been more but I can't think of them!

The hard part was going to a scifi/games con and NOT meeting michael sheard, he kept on coming to Conpulsion even after they stopped paying him

Mine would probably be the Dalai Llama. Quite well known in some territories I believe. And Bob Monkhouse (I carried him up some stairs at a fringe venue, he couldn't get up himself. "This isn't very dignified", he said. "Sorry about that" I said. "No, I mean for you" he said, and hit me with his walking stick like I was a horse). And I broke up a fight with Fish from Marillion in it once.

Bikes? Niall Mackenzie and Rob MacElnea at the Triumph dealer in Cornwall. Later in the day I did Rob Mac on the brakes on the way up to a roundabout. He may not have been trying. The most exciting thing to happen in Cornwall ever.

Cars? James Hunt at a Vauxhall dealer in Glasgow. Being as I was an annoying little 10 year old and he was F1 world champion he was really, really nice to me! How times have changed though, can't imagine coming across Kimi Raikkonen fingering a used Vectra on the Edinburgh road.

Thespians? Ewan McGregor at the Triumph dealer in Glasgow. I wanted to talk to him about Star Wars but Mrs Tiger asked about a friend of ours he went to school with instead. A thoroughly, awfully, bloody nice chap.

Miscellaneous? Kenny Dalglish, Chuck Noll, Jim White, Mr Abie, Paddy Christie...

Racers - lots, notably pouring a glass of red wine over Michael Rutter while we were having a meal. I also used to stay at former 500GP racer Paul Lewis' home in Maidenhead when I was working down this end of the country and living up north - he's a close friend. Stirling Moss is also one of the nicest blokes I have ever met.

Showbiz celebs - a few, nicest of the lot being Dido, at a party. I didn't even recognise her and chatted her up for an hour before my mate told me who she was. I also knew Kim Wilde rather well before she got famous. Once upon a time I bought Geri Halliwell some chips too. As far as a/holes go, Bruce Foxton, formerly of The Jam, is top of my list.

Royalty - a couple (I had the Queen look me up and down as she rode past on a horse). I got chatting to a rather lovely posh burd once at a car showroom I was visiting, and she turned out to be Zara Phllips - what a thoroughly charming young lady she is.
