I do you know!
Not my fault though, there has been a burst up the road and I didn't realise it was more than water :(
I was already soaked having gone out in leathers in the sunshine this morning to work and been caught in the rain on the way home. The torrential rain must have been too much for the pipes, so, up came the sewage!
'Cos I was soaking already, and love making a splash, I was, shall we say, "enthusiastic" going through the road-wide puddle and came out the other side smelling of poo with minging loo roll hanging from the pointy out bits on the bike. Needless to say, the leathers are a touch fragrant and the boots have been jet-washed already. The bike, that may never be the same again and the drive needs disinfecting after the various floating bits of sewage were rinsed onto it.
Overall, I rate my journey home as 0/10!
Pete

Well, we all know pointies are sh*te anyway, so.................:p
On a serious note, you maybe ought to speak to a doctor, see if you need a course of tablets to avoid catching something nasty from the sewage.

Now that has made me laugh .......... sorry pooey Bluey LOL
did you carp yourself mate
The only thing that could have been possibly worse would have been to lose your balance and drop off right into it.
Imagine if you got it in your helmet.....

Imagine if you got it in your helmet.....
Well it soaked into my pants, but didn't quite reach my helmet! ;)
Having your own carp in your pants is bad enough, but someone elses is a problem of greater magnitude.....

Pete pooey pants! Ha! Ha!
On a serious note, if you have any cuts or sores where that 'orrible water could have got in, get checked out. Heavy rain tends to wash all the nasty stuff like rats wee and poo into the sewers (they pee on the sides) plus untreated human sewage may be in there and some folks have some nasty diseases.
*sniggaz*
You played in poo...
... and said poo...
... tee hee hee.

I'm so glad I'm not you right now. I'd have to rub every inch of skin with sandpaper to make sure I had all the $hit off!

You've had a sh!t day...
On Luckypants's point, it's good. I'm acting for a groundworks company in a claim brought by a fomer gofer who says he was instructed to repair a leaking live sewage pipe. Well it was more live than thought - and before long this raw sewage poured over his boots. Gofer says that it caused an infection on his big toe. Only, being diabetic, it got worser and worser and the poor bloke had to have it amputated:pukel:
Billie-no-mates or Pooey-no-mates??
I know which I'd rather be. :D;)

Why wasn't there any warnings of the sewage or anything being done to clear it up?
Where there's blame, there's a claim (new leathers, boots, gloves, helmet, soap, towels, full vehicle detailing........ etc.).

Yeah- I'd suggest that you may have cause to seek legal advice on this, given the helath risk and also if expensive riding gear is ruined...

Lol!
I had a bit of an "oops" coming home earlier, over the moors, a bit of a ditch with about 18 inches of water in it. Luckily my spark plugs and HT leads are well "gooped" as the engine pulled through it fine.... however some of the monsoon has shafted the rev counter!! Grrr!
On a brighter note... the worst thing in that flood will have been a few bits of dead sheep!
