no, i'm not being paid to get customer feedback, but I am writing an essay on marketing. Grateful if any of you would be good enough to share thoughts on:
1. why you used them in the first place
2. why you keep using them
3. what method you use to order and what you like about it
4. any views on consistency (esp if you use more than one branch)
No derails please - I really don't care what you think of pizza deliverers or what your favourite topping is!
ta muchly!
1. Favorite take away pizza, the hut is stodgy and others taste too cheap
2. See 1
3. Phone. Confirmation straight away. Friend uses online ordering but I don't trust it
4. in loughborough the dominos was excellent. The one I use in Swindon is variable. Sometimes nicely loaded pizzas somestimesca bit sparse.
Its all about the product for me. Ease of ordering doesn't come into it really. Wouldn't make me go elsewhere. Price is a bigger factor. We do have more pisA hut these days because it's a but cheaper.

no, i'm not being paid to get customer feedback, but I am writing an essay on marketing. Grateful if any of you would be good enough to share thoughts on:
1. why you used them in the first placeI get 50% off on them, but most of all they are really nice :)
2. why you keep using themSame as 1 really, but also cos they vary their deals
3. what method you use to order and what you like about itIf online, by card, its easy. If collection, which is where the 50% off comes in a pay by cash normally
4. any views on consistency (esp if you use more than one branch)My branch have always been correct with timing, funny but annoying thing is, my boxes say Reg C (regular customer) oops

1. Because they were the only place that delivered
2. Because I like em
3. Online, its quick and easy and I feel I have more control over it and they cant mis hear my order and give me the wrong stuff
4. Spot on every time, normally our order is delivered within 30 minutes sometimes faster.
1. why you used them in the first place
Shop location. It was the closest Pizza place
2. why you keep using them
Internet ordering and I like the Pizzas
3. what method you use to order and what you like about it
Internet ordering, cause I'm lazy. Never missed a pizza yet.
4. any views on consistency (esp if you use more than one branch)
Consistency's not bad, pizza's always taste OK. Only use 1 branch though
My only experience of Dominoes was that I rang them appx 7pm to place an order, someone picked up the phone and put it straight down. Strange I thought. Rang again immediately, phone rang for 30 seconds, girl answered and before I could place my order, she asked if I could ring back later because they were busy, then put the phone down.
To sumerise. Never tried one never will. :shaking:
too expensive
if i want pizza (which is very rare) i would get one from asda

You made your order for delivery for 2 1/2 weeks later?
1. why you used them in the first place
They delivered a menu that we kept
2. why you keep using them
I like the taste and the variety, they givce you a fresh up to date menu every time you use them.
3. what method you use to order and what you like about it
I ring up, I cant be fussed the power up internet just for this, I collect it,s only 10 min walk away, and I pass the off license on the way.
4. any views on consistency (esp if you use more than one branch)
Allways the same standard never had any problems, but always the same branch.
Never use them. The premises look unattractive to me and don't have visual appeal, although they're spotlessly clean they're in a building which looks a bit shabby. Plus they are very expensive.
They have a sign in the window, 'Drivers Required' - only it's been there ever since they opened about 18 months ago.

Glad to say, I have never, ever used a Pizza delivery service, besides which there isn't one round here. I did once try to use the delivery from my local Indian. It arrived 2 hours after ordering and I had gone to bed so refused to accept it.
Lesson learned, send daughter to bring home supper. At least that way you get what you want whilst it is hot.

A belated thanks for your responses. I am now finishing up an essay on....pizza.
I did contemplate placing an online order myself as part of the research, but then:
1. They'd know where I live
2. I'd get loads of email from them
3. I'd have an unused pizza
I'll let you know the outcome in a week or so.

My Answers
1, Ease of locality. Ten minutes walk from home or next to pub for way home. Mutley Branch, Plymouth when I lived there.
2, They usually tasted great, even when sober.
3, Occasionally phone for delivery when at home with a movie, usually just walk in and order.
4, Staff turn over made consistency problematic towards the end of my use of them. Also staff tended to be poorly turned out, some were even dirty and some had poor customer relations skills which stopped us using them in the end and Swapping to another brand.
Hope this is of use, good luck with the essay.

I dont use them because they are rude on the phone, they sent two of my friends a different pizza to what they actually ordered, they (premises, pizza's) look rough, the ingredients look horrible.
Papa Johns all the way for me
