With the wee nipper I would like to get out on the bike more and I'd like to maybe involve the little man in it all. So as he's only 3 I think a side car is going to be the only option, now something I know nothing about. Lucky I have a curvy so a side-car should not look to odd on it depending on the model, but is there anything else I might need to think about?
Like fitting, stress to the bike, electrical load, roll cage?

Dan, PJ's at an early stage in his development and still trying to gauge what is "normal". Please don't further distort his ideas on this by putting him in a 3 wheeled car with no weather protection, no lugage space, an odd idea about cornering, and no ability to lean or filter.;)

Get a topbox so he has something to lean back against and then you can toddle off on little rides

3 years of age is quite young though, I think i was 9 or 10 when i had my first pillion ride (on a GSXR750-WN), becsaue it was only then i was long enough to reach round my dad and reach the footpegs properly

Could stick him in one of those things women carry babies in on their backs :D

And I ain't tyin PJ any where, that just silly. Though me and Jax say a bloke bungee his nipper to his bike, and there was a long discussion on how that was just so WRONG!

Disgraceful.

They need to test some for their impact protection.
