Hi All
I done some work with Claudio Von Planta recently, who was the Director of Photography and lead cameraman on Long Way Down/Round. I know that not all of you are fans of the series but Claudio spends a great deal of his time making films and stories to highlight social injustices and war ravaged areas that traditional programme makers cannot or won't go into.
He has just completed the Hull Freedom Trail film, an anti-slavery campaign across West Africa. "The Hull Freedom Trail is a natural progression of LWR and LWD. It's another amazing adventure and in addition it's also a great example of ordinary people doing extra-ordinary things. They have the courage and vision to fight injustice and address tough challenges in today's world."

The aim is to fund more of Claudio's work to produce more films promoting social responsibility and giving voices to those who have none.
He's also a bloody nice chap too.
