AR08 Photo Comp!

With the AR about to start I thought it would be good to have an AR themed photo comp with a special prize up for grabs...

The photo will obviously have to be from this years AR ;) and the theme is to get a picture that captures the "spirit" of the AR. Can be of anything really, doesn't need bikes, can just be a group of ppl having a laugh round a fire but as always ONLY ONE picture can be submitted! Eyes firmly set on Quiff Richard over in the corner :D with any additional photos submitted being promptly burnt.

So get those thinking caps on and hope to see some great pics from the weekend.

For me its this one. Its not a daft one or a drunk one, but from my perspective it really captures the feeling I had of everybody mucking in together to help out and support the weekend to ensure everything went smoothly.

I was worried about the ride, we had a big group of riders and it was the biggest thing I have ever tried to organise and knowing that I had that group of guys out on the road to mark the junctions meant I could relax and enjoy the ride myself to.

And the ride went perfectly! 73 bikes, nobody got lost, nobody came off. That in itself is a huge achievement. To top it off I loved the windy countryside route; it was just what I needed :)
