Mm me and my bro got back a minute ago, absolutely drenched. Was going to camp but our waterproofs aren't very waterproof and i doubt it's going to stop raining anytime soon!

The rideout was brilliant though, although the rain started at about 4. Have some pics for your viewing pleasure.

Ride-out start point.

Second stop.

Lunge, with a touch of Wiltshire arm swinging, or chest beating.

Lunch stop.

After that I didn't bother taking pictures as we only stopped at a petrol station in Shaftesbury, then it started raining.
I hope everyone enjoys the rain....

Just made it back home :D Glad to report my waterproofs are exactly that, just need some waterproof bootz and gloves now :D

Saw Dan at a petrol station on the A303 and then again on the M3. Also passed Falc and his support vehicle on the A303.

Absolutely F***in brilliant weekend, rain last night and today dampened the ground, but not anyones spirits.

Ride was great, was brilliant seeing so many bikes, just when you thought everyone had arrived at a stop another 20 bikes would show up :D

Off for a warm shower now :D

Thanks to everyone who was involved in organising everything, it was brillian, thank you so much!!

Car unloaded, tent up in conservatory drying out, wet clothes in the wash and bedding on the radiators.

Superb weekend despite the weather, can't believe we were eating chips & ice cream on the beach in blazing sunshine yesterday.

An awesome weekend, thanks to all involved in organising it, rideout was brilliant and meeting everyone and catching up with people was great and really made the AR what it is. Couldnt believe we got so much sun on the ride out day just a shame the rain came on the Saturday night and today but got back alright.

Saw Stu on the way home as well as James (Rigor), hope everyone else gets back well.

I'm back safely, after riding through a thunderstorm complete with lighting and hail. I have bruised forearms from it, it was the worst weather I have ever had to ride through.

I had a truly brilliant time at the AR, it was very sad to say bye to everyone. I met loads of really nice people and I notice some went that I didn't even see so sorry about that! Huge thanks to Fizz and Viper and the team for the excellent rideout route (what was the name of that villiage with the castle we went through?), perfect facilities, and top notch organisation. Also thanks to Si and Jo for their amazing hospitality and to Mark for his whisky. Hope to see you all again really soon, lets have another trip soon!

Oh yeah and thanks to Gordon and David for the food, those burgers were lovely!

Made it back to London in a bit over three hours - and didn't really get wet, which was good :)
We had a really fantastic time - thank to everyone who obviously spent so much time planning and putting this on; and hi to everyone who talked to us, it was a great weekend.

Thanks again for a great weekend.

+1 for the standing water in Birmingham. We were down to about 30mph in torrential rain, couldn't see a thing. Stopped at the services and talking to a guy on ZZR600 who was following us, he'd ridden from Newquay and was going to Glossop. He was soaked cos wasn't wearing waterproofs :(

Pingu and Pingi home safely (12:15) made it home in time to watch the F1 - Car drivers can't stick to the road in a little bit of rain - they are rubbish :)

Thanks to all for making us feel welcome and those that chatted (even though we didn't have a 650 or loud exhausts)

Our 1st experience in tents and combined with wet weather - 2 things we can cross off the bikers list.

Pingi (too my relief) has not been put off by the experience so green light to more trips on bike and camping :)

Thanks to the organisers - brilliant effort and added to the whole experience.

Bring on the next one.

Just got back about an hour ago.

Had a detour to Suffolk yesterday and thought it wasn't possible to get any wetter.....

then I put my damp leathers on for the ride back here today.

Reckon they should just about dry out in time for next year....

The girl done good though and I only lost a twin for about an hour on the M3/M25 yesterday...

Home safe and sound, if a tad damp:D

Beautiful weather all the way to within 5 miles of home, then a monsoon:rolleyes:
