Just to upset the guys that complain about their fuel consumption on my weekend trip to Ireland i averaged around 64mpg. I was very impressed sitting between 80 and 100mph, i got to 160 miles and though id best fill up then could only squeeze in just over 10ltrs. Best was 69mpg worst 52, that was in the welsh lanes.

Constant throttle and small throttle openings ensure a nice economic ride. I have noticed the same thing when out on long rides (excluding the AR - rev city) - the SV is stupidly economical when you want it to be
