23/24 August 2008, Fun Day...Anyone interested?

Hi there guys,

I want to organise a High Ropes Day at Go Ape in Bracknell, now before people start freaking out, I thought...'oh god' when I was invited by a friend, but it was actually loads of fun.

I get discount there so need to know how many of you are interested so that I can organise the booking nearer the time.

I was thinking of having lunch there too so it would probably be a bring and share picnic type arrangement.

Would be nice to see some old friends again and meet some new ones.

Do you get discount just for the one at Bracknell? There is one at Cannock Chase, Staffs, if Midlanders are interested I could plan one for up here if you got discount in general .... or is that rude of me to ask?

Is this at the Lookout? My wife did this and I think it was £50 each. Yikes.

Yer Dan its at the lookout, 25 pound per person for about 3 hours worth, its absolutely brilliant and well worth it. Done it once and going again soon with work.

There are plenty of places to have a picnic, failing that the golden retriever pub is literally down the road.

I'll put up some pics when I find some of when I did it.

LOL looks cool! Its the same place we train the dogs at (well not exactly but its the same entrance we use to the forest to train!).

We can't make this anyway as we are away camping in Salisbury.

I live up in the Mids too but just all the SVers I know are in Guildford thats only reason why I thought I would have one down there...

I have seen this for the last year or so everytime i go up there on my mountain bike. takes me about 1 min ride to get there yet i have never done the go ape experience. It looks really good and have heard it is. i may well be up for this dependant on date. :thumbup:

Did it as part of my stag do. Lots of fun. Particularly following a group of 18/19 year old girlies who kept nearly falling out of their tops.... :D
