I like it coz it is ickle ... its only slightly bigger than an A5 piece of paper (well its about a 4.5).

The monitor is still good resolution, the processor is man enough for word processing/surfing and a fair bit more ... the 1gb of memory is again enough for the same ... but the big bonus is the size and the weight ... it weighs 1.2kg ... that's about the same as an average sized hardback!! 8)

Its <£300 too ... so you won't feel too precious about it ... unlike a proper laptop, I reckon you could slip it in a handbag ok 8)

I`m typing this on an Advent laptop too (my sons).. home pc knackered and i suspect i`ll have to buy a new one very soon. Been thinking I might just get a laptop instead. He`s had no probs with this one and it takes a hammering, he`s well chuffed with it.

Fitting it in my handbag would be a mission - its teeny!! :smt043

I nearly got one of them but felt the HD capacity was to limiting ....also with only 512mb ram its only eve gonna run a lite version of Linux ...

Still good mind, but I felt for the extra £80, the 4211 gave quite a bit more 8)

They do more than one, is it the 4211?

The 4211 is neat, but I'd not want to look at it for extended periods ... its ideal as an on-the-move laptop, but not really as a sit at home job ...

lol, ok, I should have said a reasonable size handbag, you know the sort of thing you could clout someone proper with if you got in a strop!!! :D
