nice pigs tony, any time I try to take action shots I usually end up with two dozen shots of empty track. I know even less about photography than I do about biking. R u going to the bsb, think its the weekend before the massacre?

I will be going up for the BSB round

My mates nephew (Alex Gault No 17) has got a ride with Astro Kawasaki in the BSB 600 Superstock and was out on Saturday and Sunday at the Scottish for some practice he was sporting No 77 for the day. He done Chucca's Cousin (Lewis Farrow no 88) a favour by coming in in front of John McDonald.

In fairness this is the best 10 from about 50 that I kept and the 50 I kept were from about 500 I took

IE plenty of photos of track grass and front or rear wheels

Nikon D60 I got it in New York for my 40th.

I was using a 55-200 lens

I was getting some pointers from my mate who got a Nikon last year, he was talking about shutter priority and other anal stuff like that

Cool camera. I got the Canon 450 - just fitted my wee hand like a glove! Using shutter priority can be good for action shots cos you can make it shut nice and fast and it sorts out the aperature for you automatically. Gotta say though, I find that using the action shot mode on the camera usually works pretty well too.
