From http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/3719507.stm

An estimated half a million people north of the border have CHD.
More people in Scotland die from the disease than in any other part of the UK, with 261 deaths per 100,000 men and 98 per 100,000 women in 2001.

"Scotland has one of the highest rates of heart disease in the developed world."

Hmmm. Wonder why that is.

OK, here's one from 2006, and I doubt very much that the situation has changed much since then:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4753547.stm

British Heart Foundation data shows Scots men and women still have the highest heart disease death rates in the UK at 221 and 81 per 100,000.

England has the lowest death rates at 167 per 100,000 for men and 54 per 100,000 for women.

I doubt that it has changed either. The ;) was there for a reason.;)

"Glasgow Salad"

:D

That makes my daily digestion look pretty good, actually.

I was initially concerned about the saturated fat seepage through the lid, though upon reflection, it seems warranted and should be forgiven.

One of? Uh uh. Number 1 baby. Number f*cking 1!

Now it's nothing to be proud of but it's just natural selection really and it helps out with geriatric ward overcrowding, pension annuity rates, all sorts of things.

See you at the Massacre wyrdness?

Would really like to come up for the Massacre, as I love Scotland, but have new born baby, so can't make it. I had the miss the AR as well.

Alas. Well we'll have a Munch Box in your honour mate. Want us to send you any leftovers?

None for the baby though, no kebab meat until they're at least 12 months I think it is, although I'm sure chips are OK.
