Seems you need to add a little sparkle to your cake to re-invigorate your interest.

May I suggest.....

Custard.

You know it makes sense.

How can you not be interested in cake........I'm sat here with severe dodgy tummy syndrome, and I would certainly not turn my nose up at cake;-)

In fact I had a very large wodge of chocolate fudge cake on Wednesday night, when my tummy certainly didn't need such a wonderful experience.

Mind over matter........cake, cake, cake:cool:

Chocolate cheescake.

Urgh, now that is sick.

Cake... nope, its not the same, I look at my tummy, then photos of me with gills and some how the love for the cake is not the same.

dizzyblonde
18-07-08, 11:27 AM
perhaps, you could have cake with added vegetables. They have hidden veg in kids stuff....and just the other morning on BBC I saw them with a nice beetroot and chocolate cake.........mmmmm errrr loverly

now would you be interested in a cabbage sandwich:confused:

errrrr no;-)

Grinch

Nope, but I would be rather tempted by a nice lettice, tomato and salad cream sandwich on white bread.

jambo
18-07-08, 11:34 AM
Oh no, don't give up cake, maybe you just need to try harder, or less, don't leave the cake fold, you're awsome and we all love you loads!

Grinch
18-07-08, 11:39 AM
But what about veg, its just becoming so tempting, also biscuits are drawing me away... Can a man have cake, biscuit and veg and eat it? I'm not sure I can cope with all three and balance them all in my busy life... it was all just cake, cake, cake, but now I just don't know, its so hard. Maybe I should leave cake for a little while and thry a more exciting past time, like extreme biscuit eating???

Grinch
18-07-08, 11:41 AM
Custard creams dunked in dare I say it... c. o. f. f. e. e!!!

hovis

Nope, but I would be rather tempted by a nice lettice, tomato and low fat salad cream sandwich on wholemeal not white bread.:p

That's just dirty! Surely everyone knows that the ONLY biscuit that should be dunked is the mighty gingernut.

Grinch
18-07-08, 11:55 AM
I will dunk all biscuits, even those ones that look like dog biscuits.

dizzyblonde

Or even better, a cup of hot chocolate with a shot of Baileys in and a bar of Dairy Milk.

Hmm, now anyone want to lick Dairy Milk from my naked heaving breasts? :smt016

Told you, no one wants cake these days!!!!!

No and possibly not cake as well. how about ice cream with choc poured over it so the chocy goes hard.
Or those little cakes you get from the baker like the french have. They have cakes with custard and chocy on the top.
So cake custard and chocy.

I did once mistakenly say 'Dairylea' instead of 'Dairy Milk' in such a situation, and have never lived it down.

Erm... Does he eat a lot of cheese then? Everything in moderation. I would eat cheese over cake any day...

I'd rather have a double serving of say... a sunday roast, than bother with dessert.

If Grinch seems to be bored with sweet, he should take a walk on the savoury side. :smt047

Good news people, my love of cake is back, and I am once again fully cake loving. How you might ask did I achive this great goal?

Simple the mighty fruit cake bought me back, and it was yummy.

Jax also made a home made cheese cake last night and it was marvilous.
