i was a bit disapointed when she picked up

any who, the insurance have not recived the quote from the garage yet.......... why i hear you ask?

the insurance company gave me their old fax number, so need to get them to re-send it.

and then they may need to send out an engeneir to inspect the bike.

grrrrrrrrr

been on phone for 1 hour,

i now need to get insurance to tell garage then garage has to order parts,(up to 2 weeks)

plus i have just reported it all to my brooker, after reporting it to insurance last week, but things are starting to move

the work should take about 3 hours, and the garage is 30 miles away, so i will wait for it,

i did see a 2008 FIREBLADE AND r1 with demonstrater writen on them:riding:

Unfortunately yes. You gotta be a pain to get dealt with quickly, if you stay quiet they'll forget about you any you'll drift to the back of the que. UK service at its best :smt003

Mine was just short of being written off in January - even with all the wranglings with the insurance company, ordering parts, waiting for them to arrive and fitting everything back up myself, it was back on the road looking brand new just short of four weeks after I threw it under a car.

Sorry I don't know the details of this but have you sorted out who is paying the excess
e.g. Although my accident was not my fault I have had to pay the £250 excess till the 3rd party admits liability. I have been paid for the repair work but it is very long winded over the other costs

If you get the 3rd party to admit fault then you should not have to pay the excess... I know I didn't.

oh

i was told, that i would have to pay, then claim it back, they have admitted fault (AFAIK) i will look into this, as im not keen on paying £500 then waiting ages to claim it back

cheers
