rightie oh then,

on sunday morning (early ) im looking to ride from Leeds to Aberdare sth Wales,

id rather avoid the motorways on the way down , so which is going to be the most enjoyable way down??,

i was thinking maybe make my way accross to chester and then sth, but theres a few diff routes , are any of them particularily good biking roads..even if i have to make a litle diversion to get to them its not a massive prob...........

i await your knowledgeable insight

yeah going to aberdare park, im originally from cwmamman (2ml from aberdare), so i thought i might combine going down for a family visit with a little racing................. never been down on the bike so im keen to see some good roads.

what about doing a bit of a detour through the peak district, I live next door to it and it's gorgeous and great for biking!
