I was back at Eastern Creek over the weekend. Trying to build up confidence after hopping off the bike last time so I started off by hopping off again this time! Good one and in the 1st session too! :thumbsup: Not totally my fault - I noticed that gear shifting wasn't as smooth as it should be - felt like the chain was a tad too loose which made sense as it had only been fitted. Was pretty much the end of the session, so didn't bother coming in. I was about to turn into turn 8 - A fast downhill left, shifted up to 3rd and it slipped back into a false neutral. I totally missed my turn in point and got hard on the brakes. I tried to scrub of as much speed as possible before hitting the gravel, but it still threw me off, though only in the last ~25kmh. No damage to the bike except more scratched fairings, but since they wee my spare track ones, it didn't matter. (see RHS in pics)

Rest of the day was cool, though I have definitely lost confidence, which needs building up again :(

Was good to finally meet Ibishu too! :)

There are only 2 local tracks here, and I booked via a local riders forum, so Eastern Creek is $175 a day (inc lunch) and Oran Park is $130. At the moment, just half it for pounds! :thumbsup:
