I went to the Speedway last night, only just found out there was one in Reading, it was great fun!
So fast and so loud!! Mr Lemon (forget his first name) the captain for Reading Racers is soooo quick, great to watch!
So, they have another home meet next monday, whos up for it?
It started at 7.30, the main speedway event finished at 9.30, then side car racing started, which was equally as crazy, there was a massive crash in the second race, everyone was ok, but it was amazing to see.
Great value for money, only £7 for students, £13 adult, under 11s free, and free bike parking.
Here the website http://www.readingspeedway.com/

Sounds good, can't make next monday tho.. off to the races :-)
Yup, I'm interested in that and I also didn't know Reading had a circuit. I'll have a word with my financial adviser and see if funds are allowing. Shame it's on so late, as my little lad would love to go watch that.
Well my financial adviser has informed me it's all systems go. And even better than that, we are all going to attend. The kids are now on school holidays so staying up late don't matter and seeing as they get in for free, it'd be daft not to take them. So it'll be all 4 of us going.
Why is there a Keith D option in a Thames Valley thread. Surely that should be a Nick numbers option.

Why does it matter?
Either go or don't go! Clogging a thread with useless posts again eh ;-)

i might be abit late tonight, might have to work untill 8.30, but will try get away at 7.30.
I read in the paper that they are closing the speedway at the end of the season, so get along tonight if you can!!
