Where has paul the 6th been?

[Paul the 6th]

I've been in hiding! Only joking, been working especially hard for the last 3 months and decided I'd had enough about 2 weeks ago. Last wednesday me and the missus set off from York down to Dover, over to Calais then on to Strasbourg via the west side of Germany. Stayed there for 2 nights then carried on to Champery in Switzerland where we've stayed for a week. On monday we drove through the mountains to Chamonix in France (the nearest french town to Mont Blanc). On friday we're leaving here and heading to cologne in germany for 2 nights. Then on sunday back to calais and up home to york :)

(yes... I will be in the office on monday morning :rolleyes:)

p.s. might be nice to do a trip down this way but some of the U bends in the alpine passes have caught me out once or twice, and the locals drive like ****s (i.e. right up my ****!)

lol we'd have needed all of the bikes from the ar to carry the missus' clothes alone :rolleyes:

To be honest I love the nice big comfy dayo :) chews up the autobahns comfortably at 110 to 120 without a fuss and much less head buffetting than the sv. No sore wrists either lol :)

I love Switzerland, was over there a couple of years ago and was down by the Lake everyday. Even went out to the big fountain to get soaked a couple of times :lol:

:) git of the week :) just spent all day at http://www.aquaparc.ch/

leaving tomorrow for cologne mind. 2 nights there, then home back to good old england where everything is expensive and carp.
