Its a good craic on Thursdays. When i used to go (a couple of years ago) when I was in thats area it was good. One day it was so packed bikes had to park next door... MADNESS! :D
The Z900,first bike i ever lusted after.
GT750 was the first big bike I had after passing my test. At 18 it was a hell of a bike to ride.

That's an original Z1, one of the very first with the black engine.

Same here. Quite entertaining riding a bike that had brakes that didn't work in the wet. Interesting to think this monster pushes out the same HBP as the SV, but has the same weight as the Bismarck.

Yep, This bike was registered in an 'L', which I think is 1973.

That's a fantastic picture, not a care in the world.
Brilliant.
N.B. Riding without the appropriate protective gear is not big or clever, kids.

Quite right. We didn't need back protectors, body armour etc. A leather jacket, a pair of DM's and Levis was more than enough. If you were a bit soft you might have some waterproofs too.
I can feel the Yorkshiremen sketch coming on....... shoe box in middle t'road.

Rude remarks about Harleys, never, there were some beauties there although not my kind of bike, at least until i grow a long beard, have numerous tattoos and am content to ride in a pudding basin helmet, ray bans, jeans and sleeveless leather jacket.:D.
